This past weekend the UGA Women’s Club Lacrosse team held tryouts and picked a 23 girl roster for the 2011 season. Here is a little you need to know about the team!
FAQ’s
We only have 2 seniors this year.
We have 13 returners and 10 rookies.
We have teammates from Georgia, Maryland, Virginia, Texas, Kentucky, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
The tallest person on our team is 5’9″ and the shortest 4’11″ (that is almost a foot difference!).
Some of the nicknames of this years team…Avatar, Fetus, Dale, Fran, and Wiggles just to name a few.
We are so excited for our season and are so happy to post our schedule for the 2011 season. Decisions about times for games for A-TOWN Throwdown and the Lindenwood Invitational will be decided soon.
